Feeling like a freak on a leash.

You know...

Until pretty recently

I didn't liked Korn...

Like... At all.

And, to be honest

I thought they sucked.

The thing was that, until I bought the Nightmare Revisited album

Because I like Nightmare Before Christmas

And Amy Lee covered Sally's Song

(Which is mainly the reason why I know this song almost by heart, now... lolz.)

I never really listened to any Korn.

LOL.

Yeah cause they covered Kidnap Sandy Claws~~

I then started to wonder why I didn't liked them

But didn't go any further

Then

A few years later

I switched to RadioX2

Which is the only (?) rock channel on the radio around here

And began to hear them on a quite regular basis

And a side from making a this back to basis thing with the other songs they play

I went like... WHY THE FUCK DID I THOUGHT THEY SUCKED ?!

And now I've like... Their complete (or almost, I guess) discography in here ._.

The thing is that it's perfectly possible that I thought they sucked

Because I then thought they were too mainstream.

LOL.

(Which is completely stupid since I then liked Evanescence, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Sum41 and the like LOL)

Oh... Actually...

I think I started to think that

Maybe I should give them a try

When Dir en grey toured with the Family Values Tour

.... In 2006 ?

Yeah, 2006.

But I just went like [Oh well... Whatever...]

And then went like [SDKJHKSDHJSKD DIR EN GREY IN TORONTO D: THEY'RE IN MY COUNTRY SJKHSKJDHS DOMG I CAN'T ATTEND THE SHOW]

And went all emo over it LOL

And the year after

I attended their concert in Toronto...

Convinced my mother to go with a [DO YOU UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S NOT SURE THEY'LL EVEN COME BACK ?!]

And the year after, I attended their concert in Montréal.  LOL.

La vie.

But yeah, I missed them in 2010

Cause I attended D'espairsRay's concert 2 weeks before

And since I couldn't afford to go to Toronto twice in the same month

And that everything was already planned for D'espa when Dir announced it

Well....... Yeah...

But I must say I've no regret about it~~

There'll be another North American tour this year, anyway 8BB

So yeah.

Korn.

I would've attended their concert with Disturbed

If it wasn't that I was a new fan

And that I wouldn't have known most of the songs cause of that...

And I don't really like to attend a concert if I can't scream the lyrics out loud, you know...

And I don't like Disturbed...

For real, I mean...

LOL

Yeah, well my brother likes them

But I think all their songs sound the same ._.

I only like their cover of that Genesis song XD

Ooooh

And Thoughtless.

Well

Evanescence did it live

It's on Anywhere but Home

And again, I thought I could give them a try

But never did XDD

Besides looking for the actual song a while after I discovered it was a Korn cover...

So yeah

I fail. lolz.

So KoRn are some Niggah.

Today

I arrived at my job and my boss was like

Oh I'm sorry, I changed the radio station...
I usually don't really mind
But this morning, they played those heavy metal rock bands
You know, those with masks...

Slipknot...

Yeah ! Slipknot
And those who'll be or have been to the Colisée...
With that other band of nigger...

.... Ah... ?

Anyway, those aren't so bad
But the other band...
I really can't stand them !

So yeah XD

Disturbed sucks

And KoRn are black

Special mention to my 55 y/o boss knowing those bands

And saying that KoRn wasn't so bad XDDDDDD

But that's maybe cause her grandson plays guitar

And she once told me that even though he was like 11

He was already playing some Iron Maiden and Metallica...

LOL.

Anyway...

Huhum...

There's only me to download KoRn's discography

Along with an Andrea Bocelli Best Of.... Lulz.

HEY.

Like monday or something

Mythomanya came to say me

And I noticed that Thursday would be March 31st.

What's on that Thursday ?

(Beside the paycheck, you know... lawl)

Well...

I must say that if I haven't been on LiveJournal just now

I would have forgotten

But

Thinking about it

I haven't mentioned anything about three of them...

*cough*looks at her previous post*cough*

I guess I just have some life priorities............................. LOL.

SO YEAH.

Today's Toshiya's birthday.

That's all.

I'm right when I say that

I haven't talked about Kyo's, Kaoru's and Shinya's right ? ._.

OH WELL.

WHATEVER.

It's not as if I had forgotten my friends' birthday...............

OH WAIT.................................................

Oh....

Huhuhu....

Ok, I'm lame.

*gets out*

*comes back*

I want a stole like hers :

I hope I don't have pro-Peta readers >____>

So Lestat's singing voice was Jonathan Davis.

Jonathan Davis = KoRn's singer.

So...

+

+

=

Hmhm....

I'm really tempted to say this kinda fails....

XD

Anyway...

Yeah

I finally watched The Queen of the Damned.

And I understood why people were complaining about it.

Not only that they mixed The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned books

Still, that could be understood since Aaliyah died while they were filming it

But it was kinda really poorly acted...

I feel like those who made Twilight based themselves on that movie....

The girl who played Jesse had as much emotion as the one who's playing Bella

LOL

And Edward somewhat look like this Lestat

re-LOL.

Actually,

I think that the only good point of this movie

Is the music.

re-re-LOL.

Really, the soundtrack is terrific

But that's the only good thing of the movie...

This and Akasha's costumes.

But seriously...

I haven't read The Queen of the Damned yet

And I'm not even done with The Vampire Lestat...

Still...

Almost everything that happened in this movie

I had already read about it... =\

Only that they skipped soooooooooooo many details that

Once again

I wonder how people who haven't read the books

Understood everything....

Maybe normal people simply don't care about details

Don't care about not understanding why this or that... ._.

Or it's that I'm too curious...

Anyway...

If you haven't seen it

You aren't missing anything, really...

And it was rated R....

LOL.

Why ?

Aren't R like... +17 or something ?

This movie is +13, no more, no less XD

And yeah

I think Tom Cruise does a better Lestat than Stuart Townsend.

I felt like Townsend was faking acting is arrogance...

I don't specially like to feel that actors are acting...

That's kinda why I laughed when I watched Labyrinth's making-off

When they said that Jennifer Connelly was a reaaaaaaaaally good actress

Cause, at least back then, she was not.

Okay, she was like 14, but still...

Even Harry Potter's crew,

When they were around that age

Were better than this !

But eh...

I guess that was the 80's.... ._.

Oh no wait.. Sid & Nancy wasn't that bad

And it was around the same years...

OH WELL.

Whatever...

I'm the only cinephile around here anyway XD

(Or most of you haven't watched all of those movies...)

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.

Yeah.

Stuart Townsend ok, yeah right.

He also was acting Dorian Gray in The League of Extraordinary Gentleman...

And thinking about it

He did a better Dorian Gray (from what I know about it... Him oO)

Than he did Lestat de Lioncourt

Even though his way of acting was the same...

I guess he can't really play a wide range of characters... huhu...
